Yani, owner of Sudore Pilates, is a certified Pilates instructor. Trained under Maria Leone and certified through the PhysicalMind Institute, she has been teaching Pilates for over six years. Yani has developed an expertise in teaching clients with debilitating diseases as well as pre and post-natal clients.She has had the privilege to train with Jillian Hessel and is a member of the PMA.
Erica Ann received her Pilates certificate from The Pilates Studio of Los Angeles, California in 2001. Her interest in Pilates began in 1993 when she began taking Pilates sessions to rehab from a serious dance injury. Erica has extensive Pilates training experience with Harmony Studios in West Hollywood, California and Body Kinetics in Mill Valley, California.
Kasey has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of San Diego. She received her Pilates mat training and certification in La Jolla, California from Dian Ramirez' Art of Pilates. After graduating from USD, Kasey moved to Sacramento, to pursue a job in bi-polar research and secure her reformer certification through the STOTT Pilates Program.
Polly has a Bachelor of Science degree in Theatre Arts from Northwestern University. She received her Pilates mat and apparatus certification from Jennifer Kries/The Method, and additional mat certification from the Kane School of Core Integration in New York City. She has been featured in Pilates Style Magazine and Dance Spirit Magazine and holds certificates from ACE and NASM.
Meghan, a dancer since the age of 7, has been teaching movement and Pilates since 2002. She received a B.A. in dance from the University of Colorado-Boulder where she studied all forms of dance, movement analysis, Bartenieiff Fundamentals, anatomy, and Pilates. Meghan studied with Carole Amend at the AIM Academy becoming certified as a movement specialist. She has taught Pilates and movement on the east and west coasts and has worked teaching rehab & post-rehab exercise. She specializes in teaching functional movement through a variety of modalities and is skilled in working with those who suffer from back pain.
Tawny was introduced to Pilates in 2001 when she sought therapy for a dance-related knee injury. At that time, she was dancing professionally and working as a freelance dancer and instructor. She began her certification in Pilates after being introduced to her mentor, Diane Dierfenderfer, a Master Teacher of Ron Fletcher's. In 2004, she graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. She then completed the Teacher Training Program at the Studio du Corps of Orange County.
Krissy began Pilates after suffering a fractured back as a collegiate gymnast. She went through the certification program and began teaching in January 2000. She became further certified through the American Council on Exercise and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Her education continued with certifications in pre/post-natal fitness. Krissy now provides Stroller Strides to moms throughout the Conejo Valley. She has been featured in Parents Magazine, local newspapers and has also appeared on KTLA and CBS news programs. Her clients include elite athletes as well as the retired athlete and new mom.
Amber trained under Maria Leone, Master trainer for the PhysicalMind Institute and owner of Bodyline in Beverly Hills. Amber is also a licensed massage therapist for over seven years. Incorporating both Pilates and her extensive experience in massage therapy enables her to focus on body alignment and form to build a strong foundation for optimum physical achievement. |
